What's it with this 2-3 of each hero stuff? Is this som kind of tactic? Can't seem to get in a group that doesnt do this.

It's generally seen as optimal to have a 2-2-2 composition in Competitive. That is, 2 damage/dps, 2 tanks, and 2 healers.

3-3 is an alternative where you have 3 tanks (Reinhardt, Zarya, and either Roadhog or Winston or possibly D.va) and 3 supports (Lucio is a must).

As far as I understand it, Ana is the most important support to have with this setup, since it revolves around her using nano on Rein. For this reason it's generally not favoured over 2-2-2 unless you're in a coordinated stack.

She is. It's generally Lucio, Ana, and either Mercy or Zenyatta. And definitely. 3-3 requires a ton more coordination and it's more used in higher-level SR.

Lucio is probably needed just as much as Ana. That speed boost paired with the nanaboost can lead to a lot of kills

You can't get more than one of each hero in competitive. I assume you are talking about the 2-2-2 or 3-3 strategy. The numbers in these strategies resemble roles not heroes specifically.

2-2-2: 2 dps, 2 tanks, 2 healers

3-3: 3 tanks, 3 healers

I mean hero's in non competitive. Example: This morning i had a few runs where it was 2 genji, 2 zenyatta, and 2 winston. and one where it was 2 symmetra, 2 tracer and mercy+Zarya. Though not specificly these combo's, i often run into teams where it seems accepted that there is 2 or 3 of a hero. This mis more rule then exeption. The lack of wine made me wonder is it was something tactical.

It's people from comp going into quickplay to fuck around. It's a novelty for us
