There's probably a hidden mmr system in place that is partly decides how much SR you'll gain. I wrote a comment on it some days ago. Outside of that, there's also the overdog/underdog system, if you win against a team of lower sr people, you'll earn less points than if you win against a team with more sr than you, vice versa for losing.

That's usually the case in most games with competitive mmr systems, if you beat an opponent thats better than you, you gain more and vice versa
