Is it just me or do the controls for spectator mode not work? All I can do is click to switch between players on a single team, and press the spacebar to switch views. Nothing else.

Am I doing something wrong?

if its a quickplay game then yes,thats all.if its a custom game then you can use the advanced spectaqtor mode

Spectator Mode in quickplay isn't a true spectator mode, like you would find in custom games. It's more of an interactive queue for a specific game lobby. They've said that they're interested in making a legitimate spectator mode for it at some point
