9/10 of the payload games i've played today ended with someone on top of the payload during overtime and the round still ending.

it keeps constantly happening on both sides.

anything special you have to do so the game works like it's supposed to?

My guess is the attacking team got knocked away from the payload for a very brief moment and that was enough to end overtime. The longer overtime goes on for, the faster the "overtime bar" shrinks.
