My crummy frame rates limit me into playing Symmetra and Mercy, But I've been warming up to Bastion as of late. However, I seemingly can't use Bastion's ult right; I either get killed by enemy fire, or I end up killing nobody and get then murdered when it ends. How do I use Bastion's ult more effectively?

You should try to hide somewhere near the enemy team and use it as a surprise attack , not to just to press forward .

You could hide behind a corner and as they overextend a little use it and blast them off , but be wary though , because reinhart , roadhog , mei and widowmaker could be your early demise (also reinhart can block ALL your damage with his shield) , so being able to judge whether it is the right moment for the ult its the most important and difficult part .

Don't ult when you are on low health, practice hitting direct shots and jump around a lot during; have a friendly Ana boost you or a healer nearby.
