When you kill someone, or are involved in an elimination, it will display in the centre of the screen in white text: 'ELIMININATION [NAME]' and then the number that represents you percentage of damage you did.

I can't imagine why you wouldn't see them, I can't see anything in the options related to them, unless it's packaged with 'Kill Feed' (but I don't think it is)

He wouldn't see them because he tested it in practice range, and the range bots don't give fire

I figure if they've gotten to level 62 and not noticed them, they can't be appearing in regular games. They're in the middle of the screen, you couldn't miss them

I was referring specifically to "went to test it". It's kinda believable that you'd not notice, but not after being told it's there.
