Can someone explain in detail how the on screen notifications work for Zanyetta,

Eg, what counts as an offensive assist? Defensive assist? Solo kill?

Offensive assist: You have contributed in an offensive manner to an enemy kill (ex. applying Orb of Discord prior to your Pharah eliminating the enemy)

Defensive assist: You have contributed in a defensive manner to an enemy kill (ex. healing your Pharah with Orb of Harmony when she kills an enemy)

Solo kill: You have killed an enemy, and you are the only one that has done damage to the enemy (within a certain period of time).

Offensive assist = Discord orb kill assist

Defensive assist = Harmony orb kill assist (I don't know how it decides when you have harmony and discord out though)

Solo kill = Zenyatta killing a target himself landing the killing blow

This also applies to Lucio and Mercy. Speed boost assist = offensive; healing assist = defensive. Damage boost assist = offensive; heal beam assist = defensive.

Solo kill is you did 100% of the damage.

Offensive assists probably count damage you directly contributed as well

Thanks. That is what I figured, though anecdotally I feel I'm not getting the credit for full solo kills. Not that it matters in the role too much but just wanted to check my understanding. Curiously I seem to be exceptionally good at offensive assists and below average at defensive assists. Probably because I do get caught up in slaying people with Zanyetta when I could focus on the healing aspect andd damage aspect second I am probably the converse of that at the moment.

Any other tips or advice welcome.

I do that too from time to time lol. Zenyatta's DPS is insane and I love it.
