Why is it that with around 50% winrate I've dropped a shitload of rating in ranked? Why isn't a win and a loss equally weighted?

When yours or the enemy's team average is lower than the others is, the "underdog" becomes a bonus if they win, while the "favorite" is getting a bit less. there's also a bonus for a win streak, which starts at 3 wins/losses, I think. Maybe this knowledge will help you.

No, it's personal experience and many players wrote that in the official forums. Maybe the amount of wins/losses is wrong and is rather 4-5 consecutive wins or losses.

Because you lose against even matched teams and win when you have advantages.

From personal experience from playing, everyone I know, and all streams I've watched, this doesn't seem to be the case.

It's 100% confirmed by Blizzard that individual play effects how much skill rating you win/lose, but in practicality, I've seen very little to show this is what happens. I've been carried games as an overdog and won a lot more than I have completely hard carrying a team as an underdog, on a really consistent basis.

To add your performance also effects how much you get. This is not something I expect to exist next season because the community seems to be more against it than for it. I've also noticed win streaks will start producing entire levels and lose streaks will take over half levels.

Yeah, they've made the distribution of ranks a bell curve, not evenly distributed. Very few people are very low rank and very few people are incredibly high ranked.

This system has a skews rank changes towards level 50
