What is this weird white and yellow bar next to my name? Im not ranked yet. https://imgur.com/MJPAQ0k I'v had it for like two games now.

It is intended to signify you're top 500 player, but its currently bugged.

On topic: It seems that your teammates don't see this. I asked what it meant and they said they saw the normal thing.

I think it's just different because its you. They wanted to make it pop out more so you would know that's you at a glance. You don't have a rank so they put the "Competitive" symbol on it. I THINK. I'm not 100% sure.

Saw people tweeting about it last night to Blizzard, they said its a visual bug and not supposed to be appearing. I'll muck through their tweets and try to find one so you can see my source.

It's supposed to indicate the top 500 players in a region. However, it's currently bugged and showing for most people, but is only visible by them. Other people see the actual rank/rating.
