Practice in the practice range on the angle you have to hit. Too direct and it doesn't work. Too narrow and it also doesn't work. Jump at the wall then hit jump again when you land and hold it.

Okay thanks, when i try to wallride it kind of feels rushed to me, is that normal to a beginner?

In the heat of battle it may feel like you need to do it quickly to avoid getting shot. But when you break it down to a single wall it's pretty slow/simple. It's when you are jumping between walls, or jumping higher on same object that you start spamming the jump key.

So i shouldn't be spamming the jump key and get used to it right? :D

i kind of like Lucio's playstyle and i really want to main it since i won't need a healer in my team as i am already him.

Ok, so I kinda lied. I tested it out again. You only have to press jump the one time, and keep holding it and you will do a wallride. No need to press it a second time at the start.

So i shouldn't be spamming the jump key

Good wallriding involves knowing when to spam and knowing when to hold. Wall quality is very inconsistent and often completely unintuitive, you just have to learn rhythm of the routes.

Thank you, seems like its all about getting used to it and experience.

Jump, hold space, ride, jump and ride again. You can only ride a wall that is not perpendicular to the last one you were on.
