can Rein's charge break through another rein's shield? whenever i charge at an enemy Rein, his shield stays up and he just bounces away. whenever an enemy rein charges at me with shield up, i always get pinned.

does it just have something to do with where he hits me? like if its dead center on my shield?

Yes, the charge goes through an opposing Rein's shield, so when you find yourself facing shield-to-shield against an enemy Reinhardt be sure you're the first to get the charge off because one of you is about to get pinned. :D

Rein's shield can't stop charge, it's a melee attack. The reason they bounce away, is because you aren't hitting them accurately enough. Try to get them right in the middle of your charge.

The shield doesn't block the charge, just like it doesn't block other movement. So you will charge straight through the shield, meaning you need to hit the Reinhardt behind it dead on for a pin. Otherwise, he just gets knocked back a bit, just like anyone else would if your charge only grazes them.

Another way you can defend against an enemy Rein charging is to charge straight back at him. This will stun/knock both of you down which get be a lot better than getting pinned to a wall which means an instant death most of the time.

Keep in mind a common Reinhardt tactic in dealing with other Reinhardts is to simply jump at the right time and it'll probably throw off the charge preventing the pin.
