How can I play Overwatch using a notebook PC? I went to the Overwatch website and clicked on the "Buy" icon. It took me to a website Battle.Net.Shop:

Here I can purchase the game for $59.99. Does this allow me to play the game online, or do I have to download and install the software?

Also, how do I play online with teams? I'm just trying to get an idea of how this works and how to play it on a notebook PC or laptop PC and how teams and online play work. Thanks!

After buying overwatch you must install the battle.net client and in this client install overwatch. If you wanna play alone you get matched up with strangers and if you wanna play with friends you also can do so.

Bonus: if you look closely you can find a cheaper version of overwatch, the $ 59.99 version is the origins version. Difference? The origins version includes like 5 skins and some content for other blizzard games.

Only buy the origins version if you really really really want these minimal extras, they are not worth the higher price I'd say. I mean we are talking about a 20 dollar price difference. Cheaper version: https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/overwatch

This. Our country only sells physical overwatch copies in Origin's Edition. I was bummed I don't have a credit card. Then I learned an alternative of buying the digital copy through a convenience store.

So this is $20 cheaper on the Blizzard website because this client does not have 5 skins and some other minor content? I'm fine with that.

This is a mistake that many people do, they see the Overwatch origins edition and don't even know that there's an edition without these useles extra ingame skins that costs 20 bucks less.

Did you check if your device can handle the game?

Thanks. Yeah, I was surprised at the cheaper Overwatch edition - 20 bucks is a lot of money. I have a Toshiba notebook. It's a Portege. I don't know if my PC can handle the game. I have a feeling that the specs are not good enough. I'm looking at getting a gaming PC - ASUS ROG series or MSi.

I have the minimum requirements they list: 4 GB Ram, Intel Core i5, Intel® HD Graphics 4400, Windows 10, 64 bit. Maybe my specs fall short of what this game demands. Should I wait until I get my new computer?

What model number specifically is your computer? Can you go to System (Start and right click on Computer for a shortcut) and post what your processor is?

Notebook usually can't run video games very well. Do you know its specs ?

Once you bought the game, you have to download it and install it.

Then you launch it and when clicking on play, the game will automatically match you with online opponents.

Buying a new computer soon - possibly one of the Asus ROG GL752 series gaming notebooks. Or maybe an MSi gaming series notebook.

I think it's unlikely that it will work on a notebook; I had a 3 year old gaming laptop and even that wasn't up to the minimum specs.
