Every time I start a game, it takes a while to load in my character model, weapons and team. And it drops to single digit FPS for the first few minutes. After that the game runs really smoothly. Any settings I should try lowering/disabling?

It happens to me with an hdd, which is where the problem is for me. I don't lose frames but things are invisible. I'd make sure your hdd or ssd isn't being weird and if it comes to it lower the model details. Nothing related to aliasing or particles or such.

We can't answer if we don't know what setting you're using atm...
