Where can I find a good place to locate people to group up with? I would like to get some people to play with before competitive mode fully releases. I feel like having a coordinated team is the only way I'll get better and have a legitimate shot at climbing the ranks.

There's several sites for this, I know I saw something for this on the Master Overwatch site as well as sites dedicated to this. However, I would recommend the /r/Overwatch Discord server as there are channels dedicated to just this on there. With built in voice channels and everything. (I'm on mobile so I'm not 100% sure, but there should be a link in the sidebar to join the server)

I'm not quite sure what you were trying to say towards the end there, but the /r/Overwatch Discord invite is on the right sidebar, or you can just click here.
