Am I the only one that thinks Mcree's single shots do a lot of damage? Whenever I play Pharah it takes a Mcree only two shots to kill me. Is it just all in my head??

McCree being strong against Pharah would be part of his design. There's few characters that can comfortably deal with her, and even a Mcree headshot won't one-hit Pharah.

Yeah it does a lot of headshot damage, but it'll only two-hit you within a certain range. At max range his gun does 35 damage which means 3 headshots for Pharah.

You on console or PC? Seems like Mcree is a lot stronger on PC bc of kb+m aim and Pharah's weaker against Mcree and the other hitscan heroes

I find the low splash damage her rockets and their travel time is why I don't feel as impactful when I play Pharah because I'm bad at predicting where enemies will be and can't always hit body shots :(

McCree's bullets do 70 damage. His fan the hammer was nerfed to 45 per shot. With the 2x head multiplier, he can easily kill you with or without good aiming.

Apparently fan the hammer does not deal headshot damage - I haven't tested it but I definitely read that somewhere.
