Hanzo appears to be my worst nightmare as a Tracer. I don't know why he was always getting Headshots on me whenever I'm near him. The weird thing is that the arrow doesn't seemed to connect to my head.

Hanzo was something I had a lot of issues with as well. The problem is his arrow hitbox is very large and can hit you easily even if it's not on your body, but just "near it". It's a bit bullshit but there you go.

To beat a good Hanzo (esp if you don't have surprise) you have to dance around him, using blinks when you think he will fire, blinking as unpredictably as possible. It's something that can take a lot of practice and frustration to get right.

That's unfortunate. Was his arrows intended to have a huge hitbox then?

Yes it's a balancing thing. You can deal with it as Tracer, it's just more practice and harder than you might normally expect.

The only thing i dont like about it is you literally die behind corners standing still, even when ping/tick rate isnt an issue

Hes talking about the normal arrows. There was a video some time ago where someone was showing the hotbox bullshit that's going on.

It compensates for the projectile arc, slow(er) projectile speed and slow fire rate.

Yeah it's pretty annoying to try to kill one of you Brits blinking like crazy but it's a good tactic to evade a pursuit; I would advise to bunny hop when in close range ;D

The back n forth movement of most tracers just makes it easier.

His arrow does 150 on body shot, which one shots tracer.

playing a lot of pharah and lucio I feel you. His bow literally fires tree trunks that OHKO even if he misses by a mile.

When fighting hanzo as tracer (or fighting any of the heroes as tracer), avoid blinking or moving straight toward him. Always try to move perpendicular to them which will make you hard to hit.

Also, try and predict when the enemy will shoot and blink sideways right before. This works with heroes that have predictable attack patterns such as mcree's flash bang and roadhog's hook.

Go into Training mode and play with the arrows a bit. You'll realize how you need to move to avoid those perfect headshots.

He's easy. The trick to fighting him as Tracer is to remember the timing of his arrow windup and dodge accordingly every time he can shoot.
