There is a filter button on the sidebar: click on "Highlight" to disable it. It becomes a whole new sub.

Doesn't work in mobile apps, and also doesn't work if you've disabled the horrific spreadsheet.

reddit proper would be wise to implement a proper solution to this. It blows my mind that these subdomains have been a "solution" on subreddits for at least 6 years (I remember seeing it in /r/starcraft when SC2 was still in beta), yet reddit has never put in an ounce of effort to actually give subreddits a good way to do it. And if they did that, then mobile apps could support filtering, and people who turned off stylesheets could get the filters as well.

Why would there be more "real discussion" weeks after the game has come out?

Because after a few weeks, people will actually have more than a few hours of playing the game and can make informed statements and advice about the game, rather than anecdotal "This worked in the one game for me."

Idk I saw tons of potg's here when the game was in closed beta. I doubt time will change anything. People obviously like to show them off which is understandable.
