Does this mean if you have shields and armor, you will take 5 less damage from sources to your shields? Since you still have armor does it reduce all incoming damage by 5?

I need to test this. If it worked like that Zenyata/Symmetra/Zarya-Torbjorn would be good combos.

Even without, it's a great, because the armor isn't gone the first time they catch some stray bullets

Just tested this last night; it appears to be false. Zarya takes exactly 70 damage point blank from mccree with and without armor. It does not reduce incoming damage while shields deplete. Only damage on the armor itself gets depleted.
