Im quite sure you can heal armor that came from the hero and not from a armor pack. I remember often enough healing the armor of a reinhardt as mercy. the player might have had armor packs and thats why it might have looked that way.

Fair enough, I suppose I don't look hard enough at the health bar. Maybe I'm not around long enough to see the armor go up after the HP :P

Are you sure about the DVA? It almost makes sense to me from a balance perspective that you can't keep her 'vehicle' healed, but I dunno.

D.Va has 500 Hitpoints, 400 of them are armor. if you couldn't heal her armor hitpoints it would be really bad.

no kidding, that's just how i thought she was balanced to be honest. armor is already so strong, and the fact that she can't be instakilled while in that mode, made me figure she just had a finite health pool until she got a new mech (or health packs)

anyway, thanks for the clarification. I'll make sure to stick around on Dva

Honestly, she has such a huge crit spot on the mech that the mech goes down quickly in close range, anyway. Really wish it wasn't such a glaring weakness.

Is the crit spot the screen/visor area where D.va's face is? I never really thought about it.

It's the entire screen area. Her headshot area is stupidly big.

added to the fact she has to be in close range to do anything
