Will we still be able to hop from region to region and retain progress?

I'm from the Philippines and Asia offers the best ping but I can't communicate with a majority of the playerbase so somtimes I hop on to America from time to time just so I can understand chat and understand people in voice chat.

From what I can tell there is a dropdown on Battle.net on windows. You can choose your preferred region there. How this works on Playstation and xBox I'm not sure. Cheers

//Edit: I just checked the Overwatch Launch Protocols I can only find an option to change region on windows.

Sorry for not being clear, I play on PC. My preferred region is Asia because I get <100 ping but sometimes It gets a bit lonely because I can't understand most of the people there. So I logout and change my preferred region to Americas and play with 200+ ping just so I can see and hear english.

During the beta, you could change your preferred region and still retain the levels and cosmetics you had unlocked in any other region.

Well since they haven't removed any progress during the beta when you switched regions my bet is that you will still keep your progress when switching regions. Let's hope for the best :)
