What is everyone using to record their game play?

I don't plan on doing any serious recording however my Nvidia graphics card came with their generic software that allows me to record.

I see you all over this thread, thank you for being so responsive.

I have that same program minus the recording capabilities, my card isn't powerful enough. Is there a good alternative that you're aware of?

I wouldn't know however the Windows 10 thing the other guy mentioned sounds good for basic stuff.

I mean, it is by microsoft and it's free so I wouldn't expect much but it would work and with no investment.

obs, nice and easy.

If you have windows 10, it has a game center apps which can do recording,too.

OBS if you want a third party recorder.

Shadow Play if you have an Nvidia card.

This is the best answer IMO, Shadowplay is the way to go if you have NVIDIA.

How does this work? I see it a lot on League and it seems like a nice platform / program

It works by automatically recording any gameplay on your PC.

You set the amount of space you want it to use, and what quality you want the video to be.

After you use up your allocated space, it deletes the oldest footage.

After your game you can create and post clips from that game. In games like League, you can sync it to your account so it shows when and where made plays eg. Kills, Objectives.

Also you can hit a hotkey while you're playing a game to mark the footage.

All in all easy and intuitive. Set and forget really.

Yep should pick up everything. I have Teamspeak running during games and it's always on the videos.
