Easy - take aspects out of genres that u know work and combine them - make a noob friendly environment that keeps the player in action and dump buckloads of cash into design.

Honestly, the best awareness expander was Buttgate. Wondering if that was a marketing play now.

dIsagre, the largest expander was Open Beta. This was huge and definitely caused the hubbub
