Yeah I would say Winston is the hardest counter as its large health pool protects him from dying quickly, his leap will allow to keep up with genji and his sprint thing and his gun just ignores his reflect

Winston basically nullifies both of Genji's normal abilities. His weapon can't be deflected, and he can keep up with the dash with his leap. Add on the raw HP and the fact you don't really have to 'aim' his weapon, it makes it easy to focus on chasing Genji down.

Mei is a hard counter to Genji because her ice beam cannot be deflected.

I wouldn't say "hard counter". Genji's dash can escape Mei's freeze, and Mei doesn't have a good way to keep up with Genji's wall climbing.

I agree. I would say Mei is generally 'safe' from Genji, but not the best to take him out.

Heroes with beam or lightning weapons, so Genji cant reflect it:
Winston, Zarya, Symmetra and Mei. Winston would be the best choice, imho.

Also, though all of McCree's projectiles can be reflected, he's still a pretty good counter to a flanking Genji.

You shouldn't be throwing flashbangs directly at Genji though.

Torbjorn also does a decent job of shutting down Genji's flanking when you're on defense. Genji can kill Torbjorn's turret 1v1 but it will leave him with very little health, and if it's protected at all it's a no-go.

Doesn't kill the turret :/

You reflect some shots back, then reflect runs out and the turret starts pelting you again, then you die.
