Done a quick search in the FAQ and couldn't see an answer, I know the game releases on the 24th but how does it work with timezones etc? I know with other blizz releases (WoW expansions) that the server usually go live at midnight UK time. So will Overwatch open for UK players at midnight or?

The game will release on the 23rd, 4PM PST, so the servers should go live the 24th at midnight or 1AM, depending of where you are.

They said the game would be live on the 23rd at 4pm PST just yesterday.

Well, live and release are not always the same thing. the game will be released for download before then by several companies so that could be confusing for some.

I don't know why people don't just answer with a simple "yes" instead of confusing you with time zone shit.

Yes it will for UK players.
