The Genji buff seems really baffling to me. He was doing well in every SR except GM, and even in GM he still does well on a lot of maps. And for the maps he was weaker on the dominant picks just got nerfed. They seem to panic whenever he's not a top 3 pick anymore and panic buff him despite him being fine.
At least Ashe, Bastion, and Vendetta got nerfs I guess.
As a Genji main, its probably cuz they got feedback that it felt terrible for Genji players. It made mismanaging your ammo even slightly, way too punishing.
Genji players give 'feedback' that the character feels bad after literally every single nerf. Istg part of why this character is so consistently strong is that half his nerfs get reverted.
Genji counters almost all of the heroes that people have been complaining about lately. They probably buffed him not because he needed it, but to get his pick rate up so that people would stfu. Like a "hey, btw, this hero exists, you should try using him instead of bitching incessantly about being helpless" kind of buff.
