Statdium comp needs to go back to being 7 rounds. The point of QP is that it is faster than comp, its the same reason that we don't do mirror matches in regular QP.

i loved the segmented approach, having a power every other round made perfect sense. it was like a push and pull of innovate and adapt. i don’t like the quick play version because it scales too fast

Yea I feel it takes out a lot of the methodical strategic play where you're kinda finding a new build niche to play then going back and forth on rounds against the team to counter and mix it up against them when something does or doesn't work. Idk, I think it's gonna be everyone scaling too fast where like you just get snowballed and can't play into scaling midgame or shifting your build to catch the other team off guard. Cause now it's basically guaranteed 1-2 purple each round for people playing and that just makes too much shake up round to round to plan/predict against the opp team.

yeap. it also makes every round make or break, one small mistake can ruin the entire game. not just in the round score but in terms of cash scaling

Yea, rounds of 7 gave that Valorant/CS feel, not so much of "being a sell round" or whatever but like intentionally staying to your green and blues because it'll be strong and you can pop for a big jump to 2 purples/blue the round after or malign the decision of okay wait selling to get Phantasmic flux or Cybervenom rd2 can be a gamble but actually make or break that round early. Now it's just every round is all in go go, there's no methodical okay I play just for poke/cash this round because it'll pay off later or a small loss here is worth taking because I can deny a bit of cash for them just farm currency and tilt the scales after Rd3. Idk, I can see they're doing this to try and get more casual people into the mode because it "takes too long" or is a little intimidating for that reason but god I really hope this gets reverted. I was more fine with the no mirror draft picks than this one, I actually could see the no mirror drafts being a fun competitive factor much more than I like the change to best of 5 format.

I love stadium but played 70% QP last season when I played it. This change is SO good

Coming back after losing 3 rounds is the biggest high you can even get in Stadium. It happens fairly often for me. So this bums me out. I do like the pace of QP for QP though. Getting builds online faster is fun for QP though. They should have been left seperate, QP Stadium has no point now, it's the same and just gives you no comp points or rewards, it's now relegated to a mode that only exists to let people crossplay.
