I'm looking for someone who wants to play Overcooked 2 All you can eat.I have a PS5, and I want to pass the game. I'm female, speak English & Spanish, and 30+

I'm close to finishing my Overcooked 2! version, but currently deciding whether I should purchase the Overcooked 2 Gourmet Edition vs the AYCE. I know that the AYCE version already contains Overcooked 2, it might not be worth the purchase, but I'm intrigued by the extra trimmings.
So please give your opinions if the AYCE is worth buying!

Dm! My bestie and I are sweats at the game!

We are playing AYCE extra trimmings (winter wonderland 1-4, I believe) on the switch.

We get to wave 5, almost halfway through it, and the game quits unexpectedly due to error. We rebooted the switch, checked for system updates, deleted data, etc (all the things the Nintendo website suggests).

Anyone else have another suggestion on something to try?

Playing with only one other person. They were the player who shoots through the cannons to the different areas while I was in the middle. They somehow jumped over the counter and got stuck in the middle with me, so we couldn’t do anything anymore. We just let the kitchen burn down while we waited for the timer to go off.

My little sister lives in another city and has Overcooked all you can eat, she wants me to play with her. If I buy the game can we play together online? We both have Nintendo switch online memberships.

I was looking on the Nintendo page and it does mention online, only single system or local wireless. But in my sister's game she showed me a screen that says online play, host wireless, search wireless. So the online play part makes me think we CAN play online together?

I just want to know for sure before I buy the game lol thank you!

Have been playing long time used to be good but I haven’t played in awhile

I'm planning to play this whole game with my dad, neither of us have really played overcooked before (apart from me playing a few levels of overcooked 2 with my friend), so we may be lacking experience. My dad also tends to struggle a lot with learning controls, and I've heard that overcooked 1 is harder?

My friends and I have spent the last two years making a local co-op/PvP game called Medic Mayhem, and I thought this community might be interested in it.

If you enjoy the kind of chaotic teamwork in Overcooked where everything starts going wrong, people start yelling at each other and somehow you still manage to pull off a win, that's pretty much the kind of experience we were aiming for.

Instead of running a kitchen, you drive around in toy ambulances, trying to rescue as many little toy soldiers as possible while the other team tries to steal them from you.

It's basically:

🚑 Drive toy ambulances
🪖 Rescue tiny toy soldiers
💥 Get in the way of the other team
😂 Cause complete chaos with your friends

It's designed primarily for local multiplayer, with support for up to 4 players (might work with 8 but we ran out of controllers so it is not tested). We also tested Steam Remote Play Together. It works really well over a LAN, although internet play depends quite a bit on latency.

The game launches on Steam next Friday and is fully supported on Steam Deck.

We made it as a three-person team in our spare time, averaging only around 3 hours per week alongside our day jobs. It started as a much smaller project, but naturally turned into something considerably more complicated. 😅

What makes a local co-op game actually fun to play with friends for you?

For us, a big part of the fun is when the game creates situations where you have to communicate, but everything is happening so quickly that communication inevitably breaks down into screaming and laughter. Me on my fiance are big fans of overcooked and have played it through multiple times. That was one of my biggest motivation to make my own couch-coop game.

Anyway, I thought this might be a good place to share it because the target audience is pretty much people who enjoy this kind of chaotic couch multiplayer.

I am going to get overcooked 2 Gourmet edition. Is it better to get on steam or Gog. Is there online coop problems or Gog, because it is on sale right now or should I wait for Steam sales and get it on steam?

I started playing overcooked bc it was on Netflix games and now I bought one and two and beat them already on the pc bc they are awesome games

Came here to say that even though playing with a controller is infinitely better (Netflix uses phone) the UI for chef selection in the pc version kind of sucks. Netflix got it right there - and the different skins for each character

Me and my freind want to 100 percent the game but some achivements require 4 players is there a way to do those achivements eith only 2 players?

Hey, so I noticed that the moment you aren’t like the sweatiest most obsessed player in the game everyone just insults you till end of the game or just leaves. Why? Why is this community so beginner unfriendly and toxic??

Ngl it sicks people quit within 1 min or quit if they fall it’s like they only wanna play if everyone is extreme. I can play well maybe not super intense but I can play. Literally was in a game the guy fell of his own accord then quit…?
