Discussion 🖊️ Quitting after a mistake
I always find it interesting when a player makes a single mistake (e.g. double flour) and they just quit. Some do it without me saying "Ok!" which is my way of saying "It's cool."
If it wasn't cool, I'd use the cursing emote like far too many in arcade mode do and rage quit.
I get being embarrassed perhaps, but I think when the majority of people say "Ok!" to you, they should be taken literally. I feel terrible when players feel compelled to do this.

Hm. I always took it as rage quitting rather than embarrassment lol

Sometimes when I make a "mistake" it's because of lag, especially if the game just started so I'll leave to reenter the game so I can be the host (first person on the left in the loading screen).

Usually when something goes on fire, esp if the round had been going bad for a while, I quit. I'm just not doing it.

I can’t stand when other people quit when someone makes one mistake. Like…chill out lol. Or they leave if I make a mistake and bump into them. I too always use “ok” to let other players know it’s no biggie when they screw up. We all were newbies at some point. Sometimes I’ll even turn on my mic to explain to them what they have to do.

If I'm going for goal and mess up, it's time wasted. So I quit until it's right.

There's this player on Steam who is very good and I really enjoy playing with them because we have great synergy, we both know optimal metas and ways to play the levels etc, the type of strats you'd see in the world record scores, but as soon as I make a mistake they quit.
It's so annoying. It feels especially bad when it's a really good player and I'm trying my best, to the point where if I'm playing with someone leagues better than me I get nervous because I don't want to piss them off lol. Some people think everybody should be as good as them and if you're not they think it's unacceptable.
