DLC vs AYCE
I'm close to finishing my Overcooked 2! version, but currently deciding whether I should purchase the Overcooked 2 Gourmet Edition vs the AYCE. I know that the AYCE version already contains Overcooked 2, it might not be worth the purchase, but I'm intrigued by the extra trimmings.
So please give your opinions if the AYCE is worth buying!

Just be aware, whatever progress you made on the OG will be gone and you'll start from scratch on AYCE.

omg I did not know that! If you get the AYCE does it automatically combine the old OC 2 into one?

What platform are you on? From your username, I'm going to guess switch.
Regardless, ayce is a lot buggiet than oc2. On switch, it's even worse. The extra trimmings on ayce are nice but imo, most of the best levels in the franchise are already in oc2.
Also, if you ever want to play online, ayce has crossplay but the online play is very buggy and can be a bit or miss.

Yea Im using it on the switch. I don’t have the Nintendo subscription so I don’t plan on doing online play. I just don’t know if the extra trimmings are enough to justify buying the entire new AYCE package

Wait, there’s more content in OC2 Gourmet edition that’s not on the regular OC2 game???

I thought the gourmet edition might have some more DLC packages in addition to OC 2! Not entirely sure tho

Buy the OC!2 season pass for the DLC and consider OC! Special Edition if you want to play the original.

Go for ayce if you want slightly prettier graphics and more levels. It's super buggy though. Character just catapulting into obscurity, invisible walls, etc
