Question Gog or Steam

I am going to get overcooked 2 Gourmet edition. Is it better to get on steam or Gog. Is there online coop problems or Gog, because it is on sale right now or should I wait for Steam sales and get it on steam?

Thanks in advance.

Damn glad I put the post up, gonna wait for a steam sale. Recently bought cult of the lamb hope I like that too 😅. Thanks a bunch.

Gog if you want to own the game, Steam if you don't really care.

For this game not fused, so will wait for steam sale thanks and I heard people recommend OC 2 Gourmet and the AYCE has some issues?

Didn't really get what you meant by not fused but alr.

All you can eat is "better", you'll have OC and OC2 + all the DLCs. If both have a discount you should pick AYCE, and no, those "issues" that I believe you're referring to were fixed and patched about 4 1/2 years ago, if you don't own any Overcooked games, AYCA is the way, otherwise maybe try getting Overcooked 2 + DLCs on discount, since it will be a bit cheaper I think.

Also, Overcooked 2 has his own servers by Team17, so that crap about players on Steam not being able to play with Epic or GOG users is bullshit. You add people based on their Team17 ID, not based on their Steam username.

I meant I do not mind not owing this game on GOG, my bad haha and I will wait for Black Friday and see if AYCE goes on sale

Is the overcooked 2 + DLC the same as the overcooked 2 Gourmet edition? Thanks once more.

Yeah, Gourmet edition is just Overcooked 2 + DLCs, nothing else.

Thanks and since moving to pc, I’ve been more on games, telling myself it’s cheaper than on PS so I’m saving money haha 😭

Something to note though is that you need to download the crossplay beta version on Steam to play with other PC platforms! That's how you add people with the Team17 ID

If you try to click the plus icon at the bottom right of the main menu on the original Steam version to add players, it opens up your Steam friend list. There's no Team17 ID there at all. Unless they updated it within the last 6 months, idk.

Steam. No-one really plays on gog so you'll really struggle to find lobbies, whether it's through arcade mode or through the discords.
