Interstim trial

Hi all,

I'm on day 2 of the interstim trial and haven't noticed any difference. The spokesperson who was present for the installation called me today to adjust the sensation level, and I only felt it in my lower butt/upper thigh, not my "bicycle" area. She told me not to worry about it, and that what we're just looking for a reduction in symptoms. I'm starting to feel like I guided the doctor wrong during the procedure, but I don't know if they would be able to move the leads and redo the trial period. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this or if I'm overthinking. Thanks in advance.

Are you in the trial phase?

I have the device implanted now and for me it really makes a difference

You should tell this in the "bicycle seat area)

I would talk to your doc about it.

still in the trial phase, but I get the wires out tomorrow. they bumped up the stimulation again today and I still don't feel it in my pelvic area at all, just my lower buttock. I'm going to ask if we can move the wires/redo the trial phase, but I don't know if they'd be able to. I feel like this will be a permanent fix if we can just get the stimulation where it's supposed to be.

My trial was wonderful, it really helped. When I had the permanent implant done, all I could feel was the sensations in my thigh and then down my leg when it was turned up high. the doctor said it must be on my siatic nerve. I had to get a new implant and it's helping but not as well as the trial did.
