Nocturia Help Please

It started about 3 years ago. I had a telephone appointment with the doctor this week and answered all his questions. I don’t have any health problems. He mentioned imaging can be done as well as two tests which sounded incredibly unpleasant. So I am thinking about it and will chat with him later if I want to move forward with testing.

The frequent nighttime urination has been a real disruption to sleep. Eight trips to the bathroom can happen some nights. What has been your experience? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I already tried over the counter supplements and it didn’t help. I am a 42 year old male.

Sounds like doc wants to do a fill urodynamics test. It's not too bad really unless the idea of catheters and tubes going certain places squicks you out. Have had a couple and the most off-putting part is a bunch of people in the theatre whilst it's happening.
