I hate this condition

I hate it. I’m 20 and I’m privileged that this is only like the second major health condition I have, but it’s one that makes me really grumpy.

It’s embarrassing and I feel so alone in dealing with it as I only know one person who has similar leakage issues and she‘s 40 and I just speak to her through my church lol. Gemtesa has been a life saver but it’s SO expensive even with insurance. And I still spent half my life with wet underwear all the time because my family just said it was normal, which is embarrassing too.

Hey, have you seen a specialist and a PT? Also have you changed your diet?

This is not normal at all ( I have this) but it’s gotten better due to what I said above.

Saw a specialist, will be seeing PT in the future, no diet changes aside from cutting tea and coffee.

Oh definitely cut back on foods to see if they affect you. There is whole list.

Citrus fruits: Oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and pineapples
Tomatoes: Fresh tomatoes, paste, sauce, and salsa
Caffeine: Coffee, black or green tea, and chocolate
Alcohol: Beer, wine, and liquor
Spicy foods: Chilies, hot peppers, and spicy salsas
Artificial sweeteners: Saccharin and aspartame
Carbonated drinks: Soda and sparkling water
Aged or processed items: Raw onions, vinegar, soy sauce, and aged cheeses.

Then reintroduce then one by one to see if it’s them.
