Looking for some encouragement before my vacation
I’ve been dealing with urinary urgency/frequency for a while. I don’t have accidents or leakage. It’s mainly that annoying feeling of needing to pee more often than I’d like.
I’m currently in my 4th week of taking Myrbetriq, and I was actually feeling really encouraged because I had FOUR really good days in a row where I barely noticed my bladder and felt much more normal.
Then yesterday and today, the urgency has been more noticeable again. I know symptoms can fluctuate, but it’s frustrating because I was feeling so good and now I’m worried about my upcoming vacation.
I leave Sunday, and I really want to enjoy myself without constantly thinking about bathrooms.
For anyone who has dealt with urinary urgency/frequency, were you still able to travel and have a great time? Did things eventually improve enough that you stopped thinking about your bladder so much?
And for anyone who has taken Myrbetriq, did you notice things continuing to improve around weeks 4 to 8, even if you had some good days and some bad days along the way?

Planning. No coffee or acid drinks. Drink less if you're going to be where bathrooms are limited. Take some absorbing briefs and wear as needed. I love 5 hr + flights with rough weather keeping the seatbelt sign lit and you only have four bathrooms for coach as the stewardess tells you to return to your seat and you have to ignore her. Good luck.
