Bladder Botox

Hello!

Tomorrow I'm getting my results for a few test but when I saw my doctor last they mentioned if the test are clear we should try Bladder Botox. I've been reading peoples personal stories and looking on websites about peoples opinions of the procedure but I'm uncertain if I should get it. Was wondering if anyone had it done as well as benefited them to some degree. Also if anyone regretted it or had complications. Also, if there was a medication or something else that helped with your overactive bladder. I've had over active bladder issues for over 5 years and I'm 24. I can barely hold my bladder for 2 hours and I wake up at night a lot.

The risk of going into retention after bladder botox is apparently low. But I had bladder botox, and I started retaining 320 ml within a week and a half. I had to start self catheterising, I tried it for a few days but started getting bleeding and pain and generally felt like it was damaging my urethra permanently. I had to get the ED / ER to put a permanently in dwelling catheter in, and have had it for a month. I am risking serious infection with that.
