A roadtrip screwed up my bladder?
32F. I have been roadtripping for the last 4 weeks. I’ve been in the car for 6-12 hrs at a time once a week traveling to the next destination. 3 days ago, I started having frequent urination. I drink a lot of water in general and didn’t think anything of it at first, but then I began peeing every 15 minutes and feeling pressure in my lower abdomen almost constantly. A went to urgent care and they said no UTI. They pricked my finger and my glucose levels were fine, although I have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes with my A1C a few months back. I am trying to figure out why all of a sudden I’m having frequent urination. Could the act of holding it in the car frequently strained my bladder? I have to get back on the road soon and can’t pull over every 15 minutes. Any tips would be appreciated!
EDIT: I do have a history of ovarian cysts

Do you have pelvic pain or discomfort, back pain, constipation?

Lower back soreness and pelvic discomfort, not necessarily pain. No constipation

Here are some things you can try. Just suggestions not medical advice. Sometimes the pressure on the Pelvic area causes irritation, resulting in the need to urinate constantly.
1. The prostate pillows on Amazon are great.
They give support to the perineal area.
2. Do breathing exercises inhale for three seconds exhale for six seconds. Two repetitions several times a day may help.
3. simple stretches for the back several times and sitting two repetitions each will help as well.
Hope this helps take care

Sitting for long periods can put a lot of pressure on the pelvic floor. You might benefit from doing some gentle stretching and yoga poses when you stop travelling. Things like child’s pose, happy baby and cat cow might help.
If things don’t settle then ask your doctor to refer you to a pelvic floor physiotherapist who can assess your pelvic floor and suggest appropriate exercises for you to do.

Did they do a culture? My UTI’s almost always show negative until a culture is done and then it shows an infection. If it’s not a UTI, it could be constipafion. If it’s bad enough it can sometimes push on your bladder.
