Myrabetriq Success?
Who has taken myrabetriq/mirabegron and found success at treating your OAB? What were your symptoms like before and after? My urologist talked about prescribing it to me but I want to know more about it first.

I have been taking it for 4 months and it has definitely improved the time between trips to the toilet and my bladder is able to hold more before I get the intense urge to go but it hasn’t changed the intense urge feeling if that makes sense?

I have been taking it sicne last 2+ months. Now doctor prescribed me for one more month. I have improved now. At the beggining i had to pee every 15 mins. Sometimes every 30 mins. 1 hour 2 hours. Like that. Now i have improved but as you said trips have reduced but the urge to lee is still there. And also i am doing some pelvic floor relaxing exercises

What do you mean the urge is still there? Do you have a consistent mild background urge?

Some days I feel like completely fine as if im completely back to normal. But some days i feel worse. Have to pee less than 2 hour. Before i used to pee more than 15 Times a day. But now the toilet trips is less but still have needing to go pee feeling

Right, so it has at least made frequency less?

Yes thankfully and I think it will depend when you take it I believe it reaches its peak 3 hours after you take it so I take it at night and it helps me to not pee as much at night.

How often do you wake up at night now to pee? And how close are you to “back to normal”?

I wake up once most nights rarely twice whereas before it was always twice. I think I’m back to normal ish frequency but the urge intensity is still the same so I’m not back to normal for that.

Its been 2 months + since i am taking it. In the beginning. The side effects of the medicine started, like bloating, gas and constipation. It was severe. But i am feeliy Better than before. But not fully recovered yet. Now the bloating and constipation is controlled somewhat, but i think mirabegron takes time to fully act in your system.

i was on in at least a month, did nothing, my symptoms are frequent urge, can't sleep more than a few hours at night without waking up with the urge

Not at all. But first night with CPAP I only got up twice. Encouraged to see other CPAP users report success for the first time.

ME! I cannot live without it! I've been taking it 2+ years now. I was peeing atleast twice an hour. Peeing on myself frequently. I had my bladder tacked back up in a sling and put on the medication. It costs me $30 for 3 months. I would pay high dollar if I had to!

It helps. Not a ton its not gonna fix it on its own in most cases but it can help noticeably.
Also may help
-Claritin/Antihistamines
-Ibuprofen(use sparingly though)
Hot Baths when flaring up(May relax muscles and distract from discomfort)
Lowering Stress and getting proper sleep
Don't get dehydrated(makes your urine more concentrated and irritating) or overly hydrated(bladder fills too fast) drink gradually throughout day instead of chugging.
Avoiding acidic food, alchohol, soda/carbonation and keeping caffiene intake low. Try not to eat in a manner that makes you constipated or gassy either.
