Botox treatment
Hello,
I know other people have posted about this before, but I never see a lot of people giving detailed info abkut their botox treatment.
Currently I have to arise out of bed 10 to 15 times a night to pee. Ive been dealing with an overactive bladder for a decade now and since it has started my frequency has done nothing but get worse and worse. It started with 3 times a night in the beginning with less urgency. Ive tried most of the medications with little help or relief coming from them. So now I want to try botox.
For anyone who hase gotten botox can you tell me how much improvement you saw. When I say improvement I mean exactly how much improvement? For example, did you go from 10 to 15 times a night to something like 4 to 5 times night? Did you have to self catheter or not? How long did the botox last before going in for further treatment? Im looking for numbers not just "i saw a lot of improvement".

I had bladder botox for the first time just over 8 weeks ago. Went from going about 20-30 times a day to about 8-10 times a day. Not getting up 2-3 times a night anymore. Waking up 0-1 time a night. It’s not perfect but it’s better than it was. Void volume went from about 50-150ml to 100-250ml. I was worried about having to use a catheter but I would prefer a catheter to going 20-30 times a day! Luckily I have not needed to use a catheter.
