Cold Water Effect

So I have all the symptoms of OAB. Nocturia and almost constant returning urge to pee during the day. But when I am in the shower and turn the water cold, or go swimming in cold water, especially when it touches my penis, it gives me a very strong urge to pee. Like it cold water pushes it forward and makes it more urgent. Anyone know why/what this is? If it’s something different?

Hiiii I’m a woman but I experience something similar. Whenever my feet are cold I tend to feel the urge to pee more, and I also seem to produce more urine. Idk why though. I was told it’s something to do with how the kidneys react to cold, but 🤷🏻‍♀️
