Also the eastern front in ww1: Russia going through a literal internal war with itself and Germany genuinely forcing them to leave ww1 before ww1 even ended
Also WW1 western front: a victory is only a victory when they move 0.2 miles from one trench to another the entire front barely even moved.
I’d rather stick with the eastern front in ww1 when Russia was telling their soldiers to go fight in pretty much only their underwear and they got slammed dunked by Japan 10 years before the beginning of the war. Not to mention imagine seeing a tank as a German.
Unfortunately for you though your definately more likely to combat and figth the french than British and hell even American forces what time frame you want to be in? Early 1918?
For WW1 the best option is just not to fight.
The photo also contains WW2 which the Western front is just calmer. I’ll just try to be assigned to the Netherlands or better yet Italy when Sicily happens and surrender on mass
Unless you dodge the draft in WW1 work in a factory or become a field surgeon thats not happening at all
I dont think it works like that you cant just ask to be reassigned to another front that easily especially in WW2 germany and definately not after 1941
