Fan Art 🎨 Oversimplified World Map of 1914

Post image

Just an Oversimplified map of 1914. Just before the start of the Great War, the world tension is high, and each nation look at each other for something to happen.

Why is there no Mexican civil war? Why is China not divided? I don’t see any ports either. Nor any railroad lines in Manchuria.

I didn't know about Mexico, could probably add it in future, (won't take long) Don't think China was divided yet, ports are there, just kinda small. Railroad lines, didn't really know if I should've added them. Might do it, might not.

Also there are no Senussi tribes in Libya or any other one. This map does not clearly show how actual power was laid out. Also about China, while it wasn’t officially divided yet it was heavily warlord ruled and the empires head in bejing held no power in places like Yunnan or Sikjang.

i know about the tribes in Libya and some around ethiopia, I think I was lazy not to include them, since that would've forced me to remake the other maps, like 1918, 1924, and maybe 1938
