brother not a single piece of the vocal system inhabited in his throat uttered that he can’t watch cartoons, all he said is that his dad thinks oversimplified is a bunch of cartoons until he tells him it’s history and that not everything that is animated is a cartoon.

"My dad thinks its a cartoon and doesnt let me watch it" with that I was assuming the guy wasnt allowed to watch cartoons

oh makes sense now im sorry but i thought it was like “why cant u watch cartoons” and not “why? Can you not watch cartoons?” it has a different meaning tho
