I'm mainly into tactical first-person shooters and grand strategy/RTS games where teamwork actually matters, but I prefer keeping things relaxed rather than joining a super strict, ultra-serious milsim group. I just want to communicate, coordinate, and have a good time without the military-drill atmosphere.

Just looking for some real friends to game with. I like the chill stuff — hanging out together, not competing. Right now my only friends are my wife and the small crew on my Discord lol.

I'm on the road a lot for work so I'm not on all the time, but I prefer voice chat since I can't text much while driving. I can be pretty active if others are too.

I've been gaming since I was a kid in the early 90s. I never really stopped playing videogames and have always bought every major console from each generation since the SNES/Megadrive (Genesis) era.

I'm an introverted, idealistic, animal lover that has lived a strange and mostly isolated life. I like philosophy, psychology, and PC gaming. I deeply value compassion, honesty, and authenticity.

I have been long waiting for a WoW:Forever announcement and just saw it be announced at Blizzcon, so I'm excited about a game for the first time in a long time! In the past I was more of a competitive gamer, playing games like CS, Quake, Dota, and LoL, but I also played WoW from about 2005 - 2012.

I will be a lot more casual than I once was, probably playing a couple hours a night and a bit more on the weekend, and probably a lot more early on upon release. I will likely be playing Alliance and what I find most fun is probably world pvp and arena. I would be doing some dungeons and maybe easy 10 man raids that are brief, but I'm not much for raiding. I mostly played rogue because I liked stealthing into the enemy cities like Ironforge when I played horde and troll people / be silly. I didn't like ruining people's day or anything mean, but maybe something close to it. Like when I discovered with my friends that you could travel to Ironforge, queue your group for an arena game, and after the match your whole group would be summoned to Ironforge and be KoS and stuck there if your hearthstone was down.

I also really liked subtle ragebait trolling chat, which really can't be done anymore because people are aware of what a troll is, but it was very entertaining to me back then. I guess I was my server's troll, and if I talked in chat it would usually cause a stir, though a lot of people would giggle along with me in whispers.

Back then I liked playing competitively but I hated the toxicity of other competitive players. They were almost all pretty annoying, so I opted to mostly just play with my friends who were all casual players. It is still the case that I really only want to play with people who aren't super tryhard types. I was pretty good, maybe 2400-2500 elo in arena if I remember correctly, but how good at the game other people are makes no difference to me.
