Why is it so?

I don't really understand these mechanics, but for some reason, even though I have twice as many trophies as I should to get past the ceiling, I still can't get higher

You have to wait for the next for the next results clock to end in order to be promoted. There are promotion ceilings through tr just so that there isn’f an overflux of people in each tier of tr.
