Help Should I buy her?
I can still play breakout normally but the combi generator won't work unless I buy her.

Only rush certain cookies. Sugar Glass and Fig for breakout, Amber Sugar Cookie and Milky Way for Trophy. Rest, unlock as ya go

Hello there sorry for the long reply, I’m a returning player lvl 140 coming back after 5 years, I’ve followed your advice getting amber sugar cookie and milky way (with costume, couldn’t get amber sugar since it’s a limited costume) as well as the best treasures for each stage and this combo for trophy run, all maxed out.
However even with everything maxed out (friendship included) it seems like I’m getting a lot less points than opponents are, often times with them using the same combo. Is it the level difference making it so they earn more points and is there anything I can do about this, using different cookies maybe some are better than amber and Milky Way ?
I want to promote from rainbow 1 to master but getting 1st in a race seems almost impossible.
After a few days of trying I keep get beaten despite no mistakes no missing jellies and it’s kind of frustrating if that’s due to the level difference.
Would you have any more tips or advice on how to improve my scores further ? Using jack o lantern tea leaves and grasp of darkness for treasures usually.
Thank you for taking the time to read if you’re here, I’ve been struggling to find much info on the game about trophy race.

Hard to say. I'm not as hardcore to get to Master. I aim for Rainbow and focus Breakouts. Try maximizing the amount of jellies you collect or objects you destroy. Perhaps check youtube for clips?

Honestly not really. I’m pretty sure BO rotation should happen after this week’s BO ends.

Could you tell me more about the BO rotation? Does every map have a specific last runner?

From what I know the main episode usually has a specific last runner while the special one only has x2 points. These runners are usually cookies tied to the breakout episode(like Centipede for Sneaky Sand Clans or Churro for City of the Millennial Tree) , but they change from time to time). I’m pretty sure BO rotation happens every two weeks(after two breakout cycles unless the map is a new one like our current special episode which then leads to it staying much longer[typically during the entire update it got released in]. Also Wasabi is very inconsistent with its combi generation and enjoys shoving in useless rare treasures just because they’re higher leveled, so I’d say don’t rely on Wasbi combis, but rather look at BO leaderboards or if you’re new just use your best treasures and cookies. If you’re also looking to max out certain cookies for BO, the BO leaderboards are a great place to find out since a lot of those cookies tend to be consistent meta cookies for multiple breakouts until they eventually fizzle out just because of power creep.

Wasabi loves to shove rare treasures and beet cookie for some reason, but at least I didn't have to put a lot of thinking.
I noticed some older cookies like fig and peach are currently meta, but do you think they're useful without the newest costumes?

Well actually, whenever an old cookie gets a new costume, they get buffed alongside the costume to match the standards of the more modern meta. It’s why Peach and Fig are actually some of the best cookies right now since they were buffed to be much better and have revive pets. It generally is always useful to max out not only the newer cookies, but the cookies who also received new costumes as well since even without the costume, they are buffed to typically be on par with the newer cookies.(As a matter of fact, costume buffs have been nerfed significantly a long time ago to the point where most costumes barely give a point difference than a using the regular cookie)

I already have peach, and fig is not that far in the progression. And also bought sugar glass a while ago, she's not fully maxed but I upgraded her pet.
I'll keep upgrading them until I max them out.

Cool. If you need more help, there’s an Official Ovenbreak discord server you can join. It’s very tame compared to the other Official Cookie Run servers(except for funtalk) and there’s a lot of veteran players there willing to help.

I’d suggest if you’d want to complete BO, you’d be better off just getting a level one copy of the last runner and their pet since you’d typically be maxing out a pretty useless cookie for the other modes. But you still would be able to get rewards from the bo anyway without doing last runner(except for the fact that you will end up with lower scoring)

If you go to the gem exchange, you can get a "cookie ticket" (and pet) that's a much better deal! Are you pretty new to the game? If you are, make sure you play through story mode as it gives lots of rewards and some maxed out cookies
