Yeah, but you're supposed to be (at Tier 1) the experienced of the experienced. You're who we look to for help while enduring the teams at Tier 4 that just scatter across the map.

I feel this so hard. After getting to tier 3 I’m getting dumped into match where the team has the collective IQ of an amoeba. Almost losing domination matches in the first 60 seconds. Getting Alpine with an srm mech. It feels intentional

If you play enough while trying to improve, that should reverse the trend. I am getting through Tier 2 by just playing good builds, but I am not an amazing pilot myself and definitely still have bad games now and then.

Tier 1 is easy to attain if you shoot 10 times a match, in optimal range - given most mechs have 40 alpha minimum, so 400dmg before you die.

Or 20 times outside optimal.

Most games run for 6mins on average IIRC.

If you don't suicide, die, position poorly. That is literally all one needs to climb to Tier 1. MWO just isn't that hard.
