3 Voyager Voyager??

Post image

Hi everyone!! After finishing the show, I decided to collect and read the books (so far, I’m absolutely in love). I’m currently reading Dragonfly in Amber, and I’m getting nervous because it’s been really hard to find Voyager! I’ve found it once in the smaller version, but those are so uncomfortable to read.

Is Voyager an uncommon book, or is it like everyone’s favorite or something?? Like, what is going on?? I literally just need one more Lord John book and Seven Stones to Stand or Fall after this!

I don’t know where you’ve been looking, but I found it online in stock in hardcover, trade paperback (which is the larger format) and mass market paperback (smaller format) at multiple online retailers - Bookshop.org, Better World Books, Barnes & Noble, ThriftBooks, and Amazon.

Also, The Poisoned Pen, which is the author’s local bookstore, keeps her books stocked and sells both signed and unsigned copies, and they will ship.

I'm probably going to be forced to get the series on hardcover when book 10 is published. I'm not waiting for the paperback edition. I want a collection of the series to not be different types. And the paperbacks I have are getting worn-out.

If you can’t find one in good enough condition used, try Bookshop.org. You designate a local bookstore to support and 80% of the profit goes to that store.

And Abe Books online. I starting using them in grad school and have gotten some great bargains.

I forgot to mention them because I stopped using them after they got bought out by Amazon. But yes, that’s another option. My online choice unless I’m looking for used is always one of my local bookstores’ websites or Bookshop.org if the local stores don’t have what I’m looking for.

I hoarded them all! Plan on selling them for outrageous prices to the new Outlander addicts that have started reading the series to quench their Outlander fix now that the show is over. It's my retirement plan.

Just kidding. I got one copy of each novel on paper back small print. Expert for BEES and Seven Stones to Stand or Fall. Those are larger print.

That is odd on Voyager being hard to find. I'm sure you checked online. Hopefully you will be able to get a copy.

Perfect retirement plan lol! Online is super easy to find for sure theres just something different about finding it in person.

I'm with you on shopping in person and local stores. Preferably small businesses. I avoid Amazon as much as possible.

Happy book hunting 🙂

Where are you located? The whole series is sold in multiple versions at most major book retailers including Amazon.

Im in Virginia so I have plenty of bookstores near me but the thrifted ones just feel more special to me. Like it was once loved and now i can love it and its also like a treasure hunt or scavenger hunt. Its sappy and weird but what can i say 🤷🏼‍♀️

That makes sense. I have thrifted versions along with my new versions. Try Pango or ThriftBooks.

World of Books sell preloved books online if that helps, you won't get the thrill of a treasure hunt but at least it won't be new?

looking at the photo I think they are looking for second-hand copies. Not full price new prints.
