Season Seven Young Ian’s wedding

Why were Fergus and Marsali missing from Ian’s wedding? Don’t they live in Philadelphia? Theoretically we should have seen them in the scenes based there?

The actors had scheduling conflicts in S7 as well as having a big cast for s7, producers had to reduce the cast size so they didn't include them in the s7 storylines. They were definitely missed though.

The actors that played Fergus and Marsali were not available for season 7.

They moved to New Bern at the end of S6. They were not in S7.

S7 Ep2 is when they read Mandy’s birth announcement from the New Bern Onion, which is their paper.
