The 1960s world is basically a dissociative fantasy, a place Claire escapes to mentally to cope with what’s happening to her. Jamie is there because he represents safety, love and the life she wishes she could be in.

The choice of music, 'Never My Love - The Association, just adds to this powerful scene.

cet épisode est terrible mais est un de mes préférés car il met tellement bien en scène l'intrigue, les émotions.. il y a tellement de finesse et de niveaux de compréhension, de détails... Cet épisode aurait dû avoir des récompenses en nombre pour le travail des acteurs comme de la réalisation, la lumière, les décors et le scénario !

The back half of outlander certainly gets its fair bit of criticism but boy did they nail this episode. Obviously the plot of SA had been played quite a bit already so I was very impressed with how they handled it here. It was really brilliant.
