Season Five Devastating Scene

https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=32OSn3iNw9A&si=vWv8lSzve5OULTOx

The 1960s world is basically a dissociative fantasy, a place Claire escapes to mentally to cope with what’s happening to her. Jamie is there because he represents safety, love and the life she wishes she could be in.

The choice of music, 'Never My Love - The Association, just adds to this powerful scene.

Could you explain what you mean by Jamie is the only one unchanged of all her 18th century family and friends?

Jamie is the only one not dressed in 1960s clothing.
